The staff make you feel like you are at home. They are friendly and helpful even when they don't want to be. The food at the 19 Steakhouse, while a little more expensive than what you would expect along the banks of the Ohio in southeast Indiana, the portions were very tasty and are generally large enough to be shareable. The restaurant staff was also friendly and attentive. The chef even came out to get our opinion on the food. The slots on the other hand were very tight and I did not see many others winning. However, you could tell everyone was having a good time. The hotel rooms are clean and well cared for, and the beds were so comfortble, I slept an hour longer than I intended. The valet staff was friendly and quick, and took an interest in how we had been since our last trip there. They seem to know many of the customers by name. All in all, an expensive, because I never know when to quit, but enjoyable stay.
Rooms are showing their age. Casino action was slow. Slots didn't pay out much. Not as many people around as the other casinos we have been to but could have been because it was mid week. Food at the sports bar was delicious and service for dinner was excellent. The buffet wasn't open so not many options for dinner during early week. Hotel desk was very friendly and helpful. Will go back to give them another try.
The Games were a blast and the dealers really make u feel like a winner even if you don't win. The slot machines are so fun and the atmosphere is always exciting.
The room was very nice but clearly very used. It was missing the mini fridge, there were small holes in some of the dry wall, the jacuzzi tub had a piece that was only partially attached. However, despite those small things, the room was gorgeous and truly very comfortable. The furniture in the room was gorgeous! We never heard another person once inside the room. It seemed as if we were the only ones in the entire hotel! Certainly that wasn’t the case because they were busy for the holidays. The casino is smokey! So smokey that I was slightly short of breath upon leaving. The restaurant/bar food was amazing! It was quite affordable, too. We didn’t leave rich so I guess we will have to go back. It was a nice night out for my husband and I.
Absolutely love this place can't wait to come back!!
The rooms are exquisite with beautifully decorated rooms but the bathroom was to die for!! Big Jacuzzi tubs and showers!!
Belterra is the very first casino I've ever been to. I must say this place is fabulous. The Food is superior you can choose to eat at the buffet or dine at the Steak House. Happy hour is fantastic!!! Free drinks and a lovely dinner.
This is a nice getaway from your day today life. It has a luxurious accommodation even in the classic room category. The service is great and the location is awesome. It has a nice view outside. Also the hospitality they gave was wonderful. Overall I would say it's a perfect stay.
